A very classic and tastefully designed W at the front of W hotel Singapore. Very good first impression.
Yes, I will be staying one night here as I do not have enough leave and time to travel overseas but want a break from work and Singapore Island. W hotel Singapore is located on the eastern part of Sentosa Island. It is a distance from RWS (Resort World Sentosa), hence if you plan to visit the attractions, dine and try out your hand at the casino there this might not be an ideal location to stay in although there are shuttle service to RWS and other parts of the island. Note that shuttle service (Bus 3) stops around 10.30pm, check out the Sentosa(http://www.sentosa.com.sg/en/getting-to-around-sentosa/getting-around-sentosa/) website to confirm the current timing. The hotel do have shuttle service as well but I did not take note of the timing as I plan to relax in that area only hence transport is not a problem for me.
This is the wonderful room which is cosy but still spacious enough for 2. The panel above the bed emits different lighting colour depending on the mood mode you switch to. There are 4 mood modes.
The W couch is something I must write about. Although it looks normal but it is super comfortable, once I sat on it I don't even feel like moving elsewhere. Normally in other hotel I will prefer to sit on the bed. I checked with the manager but the W couch is not for sale...sad.

Very nice vanity mirror and equipped with everything I need in the bathroom.
The amenities.
There is even a volume control in the bathroom to adjust the volume of speakers in the bathroom. So you can enjoy a show will soaking in the bathtub.
Now you know why the 'window' can be slide open, it allows you to watch TV while soaking in the bath. There are also other creative usage which others mention for such design but I shall not eloborate here.
There's also a conventional bathroom with rain shower.
The toilet just beside the bathroom. The sliding door is shared hence if 2 person intend to use the toilet and the showers at the same time one will have to sacrifice with no door. The cons if showers has no door, water will be all over the floor outside, if toilet no door and you are doing 'BIG business' the smell will invade.

The W team will also surprise you with a birthday cake if it is your birthday. Very delicious chocolate mousse cake. The W team really exceeds my expectations from check-in. All the staff are very friendly no matter where I go in the hotel.
Very exquisite design outside the room to indicate do not disturb and room service.
The swimming pool is also huge and not overly crowded even during the afternoon. If you prefer more serene environment, can go for a deep in the night. The W team is very considerate, they provide sun tan and sun block lotion at the swimming pool. There is also a WET Bar by the pool which you can get a dip while sipping away.
There are quite a number of cabana by the pool side where you can relax and read or book or just to enjoy the atmosphere.

Breakfast was included at the kitchen table. However I was too busy eating hence there is no photo on the buffet spread available. Hence I will just describe what there are. There is a very good selection of fruits, cheese and bread. The usual porridge and fried noodles. However something which I didn't expect is the Dim Sum selection other than Har Gao (Prawn Dumpling) and Siew Mai (Meat Dumpling), they also have chicken feet, carrot cake and glutinous rice. There is also a beef noodles station which my friend say that it is very good.

This is where the hot food are serve and also the egg station where you can order how you want your egg to be made.
I ordered the egg benedict. Very nicely done, much better than alot of cafe which charge like S$20+ for an egg benedict. After breakfast its time to check-out and go back to reality.
The W team did not let me down at W Hotel Singapore from service to amenities, it was a very good break even though I am still in Singapore. W will still remain as one of my favourite hotel brand which I will stay in.
