BlackBall Dessert and Drinks

Recently there are a lot of talks about this new BlackBall Dessert and Drink shop from Taiwan so I decided to give it a try at the Clementi City Vibe branch.

It is a simple stall front just like Gong Cha, however they have quite a number of tables as they are serving dessert as well so people usually will eat in.

This is the menu, I chose the BlackBall Signature, since it is the signature dish it should speak something about the rest of the items on the menu.

Here’s the BlackBall Signature, they also give us a capsule of coffee creamer to be added to the dessert.  I find the red bean is nice and flavorful and the grass jelly is smooth, however I feel that the grass jelly could be made thicker and more Q rather than using the same grass jelly for drinks and dessert.  Yam and sweet potato is ok not too sweet abit on the bland side.  Overall it’s a ok dessert and a good place for gathering with friends.  I will probably try the drinks next time I visit BlackBall.

Iron Man Figurines Exhibit at Bugis Junction

There are 2 on-going figurines exhibit at Bugis Junction this weekend from Play Imaginative and Action City.  Play Imaginative features Iron Man figurines from Super Alloy (19 April – 5 May) and Action City features Iron Man figurines from Hot Toys (29 April – 5 May).  Have always have a keen interest in the Iron Man figurines since the first Iron Man movie but never bought any till today.  Any way lets not bore you guys, I shall go straight to all the figurines on display, which I wish I had started my collection earlier.

This is the play imaginative booth featuring 1:4 figurines from the Iron Man 3 movie, however these are not the real toys but for exhibit purpose only, at 1:4 they do look very impressive.  Now they are taking pre-order for 1:4 Iron Man Mark XLII only.

There are some more Iron Man exhibits at the Action City Shop on level 3.  Guess these are not for sale.  The quality of the photos is not very good due to the strong glass reflection.  Enjoy.
